As part of the Major Arcana watercolour print series, the Tower print represents the sixteenth card of the major arcana cards in a Tarot deck.
This painting represent endings and change that can often be sudden and catastrophic. The Tower represents a situation that was built on false beliefs, thus with no good foundations, it crumbles to the ground. The Tower reminds us that just because our world may have seemingly collapsed around us, there is positivity to see truth in a matter and build for a better future with a better foundation. The Tower forces us to find inner strength through truth and awareness. We are able to find courage through any crisis we face.
Depicted is a palm tree symbolizing victory and triumph, sometimes in the case of victory over sin and darkness. Paired with the Tower, the palm tree is a symbol of overcoming something that was false and triumphing over a darkness within or outside. While our world may crumble away, we have the ability to rebuild and to be victorious.
